I created the artwork for Lasso’s album “MALCRIADO” as a raw, personal expression of rebellion and emotional honesty, reflecting the spirit of an artist who has become one of Latin pop’s most recognized voices, a Latin Grammy winner with billions of streams and a global audience. Part of the process involved collaborating with my 2.5-year-old child, allowing instinct, chaos, and innocence to shape the visual language through uncontrolled scribbles and imperfect textures. That tension between childlike freedom and deliberate design mirrors the album itself, an unapologetic, genre-defying project that celebrates those who refuse to conform. The result reframes “MALCRIADO” not as something negative, but as a fearless, unfiltered way of existing.
